Clarence “Lloyd” Stiles was born on December 14,1932 in Sacramento, Sacramento County, CA as the first child of Gordon Allen Stiles and Estelle Wilhemina O’Neil. When he was 19, he married Alma Mae “Billie” Walker on June 26,1952 in Carson City, Independent Cities County, Nevada. When he was 80, he married Barbara Lee Williams on September 20, 2013 in San Diego, San Diego County, CA. He died in his home on May 20, 2018 in Ripon, San Joaquin County, CA at the age of 85.
   Lloyd was a soft spoken, kind and generous man, with a great humor and quick wit, who deeply loved the Lord, his family and his country. He lived most of his childhood in Stockton, San Joaquin County, CA where his mother raised him in the Christian Scientist Church. After graduating high school in 1950, he went to live with his Uncle Carl and Aunt Pete in Oakland, Alameda County, CA to study Architecture at the University of Berkeley. After meeting Billie, they married and Lloyd joined the U.S. Navy. He retired from active duty after 22 years and then worked from 1975-1997 as a computer specialist for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in San Diego.   After his first wife passed away, Lloyd found fellowship within the Penasquitos Lutheran Church near his home in San Diego. He and Billie’s childhood friend, Barbara Lee (Williams) Ortega found their friendship of 50 years growing and they married. They relocated to Livermore, Alameda County, CA for a year before finding the loving and supportive Christian community of Bethany Home in 2014. Lloyd loved living in the small Ripon community.
   Clarence Lloyd Stiles is survived by his brother, Steven Stiles of Kailua, Honolulu County, HI, half-siblings Nancy Allen of Citrus Heights, Sacramento County, CA, and Larry Stiles of Placerville, El Dorado County, CA, two daughters, Deborah Stiles-Lusk and Constance Brown of Battle Ground, Clark County, WA, wife, Barbie Stiles of Ripon, San Joaquin County, CA, three step-children, Frank Ortega of Pollock Pines, El Dorado County, CA, LeeAnn Tabor of Tracy, San Joaquin County, CA, Jeffery Ortega of Hayward, Alameda County, CA along with numerous in-laws, grand- children, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews scattered across the country.
   A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018, 11:00  a.m. at Bethany Home Town Square Community Room. The family requests no flowers, please. A donation may be made in memory of C.
