Dennis Farris passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his wife after a long illness at the age of 61.

Everybody loved Dennis; he brightened your day just by walking in the room. He loved life and enjoyed socializing with all his friends. He ushered at CWC in Manteca for many years. Dennis ran a 12 step program, “Overcomers for Christ” helping many people over come drugs and alcohol. Dennis was an active bowler in Manteca. He bowled in several leagues over the years. He won highest average five years in a row. Dennis has such a compassion for bowling; it was more than just a game. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife Rosemary, married only 1 ½ years. He had two sons, James and Jonathan Farris, daughter Jenny Flowers, 3 granddaughters, a brother Gary Farris of Tracy, four sisters, Patti Tiffany of Ventura, Debi Knudsen of Tracy, Darlene Nelson of Sacramento, Sandy Matthews of Australia, 7 nieces, and 1 nephew. Dennis will forever be in our hearts.
