Divinagracia Fojas Sales, 78, entered into peaceful rest on December 7, 2015 in Manteca. She was born on June 15, 1937 in Mendez, Cavite, Philippines. In heaven she joins her brother Louis Fojas, son Gerald Sales, and grandson Varick Brand.
Divinagracia is survived by son Joseph Sales of Washington, D.C., and daughter Grace Beglau of Manteca, who will always cherish her memory. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Larissa Sales, Lindsay Sales, Brittanee Brand, DJ Brand, Allyson Beglau, and Justin Beglau. In addition she has one great-grandson Tommy Bryner Jr.
Divinagracia was a Manteca resident. She was a graduate of Philippine Women’s University and worked for Sharpe Army Depot for over 15 years. She was a faithful Catholic and prayed the rosary every night. She was generous, compassionate, and full of love for others; her sweet nature gave comfort to everyone she met. She loved making people laugh, as there was never a dull moment around her. She was a superb cook and wise friend.  She loved her family dearly and her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. She will be remembered as a most loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed and will live on in our hearts forever.
P.L. Fry is honored to serve the Sales family. Visitation will be held at P.L. Fry and Son, 290 North Union Road, Manteca, on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 1:00-4:00p.m. , followed by a rosary. Mass will be Thursday, December 17, 2015 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 East North Street, Manteca at 10:30am.
