Doug passed away suddenly at the age of 52. Born in Alma, Nebraska to Lois and Floyd Romjue.

The family lived in the Nebraska -Kansas area until moving west to California. When he was 15, the family moved to Colfax, WA, where he graduated from high school. He worked along side his father at their upholstery business for several years. The family eventually moved back to California.

Doug was employed at Raycor in Modesto, CA, and worked there for 20 years. He was an amazing musician who could play all instruments, his favorite was the guitar, which he taught himself at a very young age. He enjoyed going to concerts and car shows as well as riding his Harley. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and he loved the outdoors. Doug was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed. He was a member of Crossroads

Grace Community Church in Manteca.

He is preceded in death by his mother Lois Romjue. Survivors include his father Floyd Romjue, of Manteca, four siblings, David Romjue of Manteca, CA, Daniel Romjue and wife Barbara of Folsom, CA, Derek Romjue of Manteca, CA, and Debra Romjue and husband Brian Clark of Manteca, CA, many nieces and nephew and extended family, as well as friend and companion Barbara Hagans of Stockton, CA.

A celebration of his life will be held on October 20, 2012 in Ripon. Contact the family for details.
