Edgar Navarro Olivas, 73, entered into rest on November 20, 2022 in Modesto, Ca. He was born in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico July 7, 1949 to Hernan and Maria Olivas.

   Edgar leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years Rayito Olivas of Manteca, his children, Edgar C. Olivas of Manteca, Cynthia C. Olivas of Oakland, Erika Olivas of Manteca, Rayito Olivas Ledesma and husband Ryan of Manteca and Marina Olivas Arredondo and husband Mauricio of Manteca. He was blessed with five grandchildren, Risa Olivas, Cyril Olivas, Jersey Ledesma, Levi Ledesma and Delylah Arredondo. Edgar is survived by five siblings, Eduardo, Oscar, Rosa, Jaime and Arturo Olivas.

   Edgar was born in Mexico but called San Jose, Ca home before settling in Manteca. He served his country proudly through the United States Army in Vietnam. Edgar worked hard all throughout his life as a carpenter and would retire after 30 years. He had a passion for cars and tinkering in his garage and listening to his favorite oldies was his favorite pass time. Edgar was social and had a personality that

would light up a room. People were instantly attracted to his charisma and his easygoing spirit. He loved his family unconditionally and let them know in his own special way. Edgar left a legacy of love, loyalty, joy, hard work, strong traditions and family values. He will be remembered as a loving husband, dad,

Wito, Hermano, Tio and friend. He will be deeply missed.

   P.L. Fry is honored to serve the Olivas family. A celebration of life will be held in Edgars honor on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca, CA.
