Elaine E. Costa Silva, 85, entered into rest on October 10, 2015 in Manteca.  She was born on August 29, 1930 in Hayward, California to the late Leonard and Adeline Costa.
Elaine leaves behind her loving husband of over 67 years Ronald Silva of Manteca, her children, Kenneth R. Silva of Tracy, Jenny Souza (Ernie)of Manteca and Richard L. Silva (Toni) of Manteca/Jackson. Elaine was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Elaine lived her younger years in Hayward before making home in Manteca. She attended the original Hayward High School and graduated class of 1948. She married the love of her life Ronald after high school, and together raising their children. Elaine worked on the family farm, pulling weeds, feeding the animals and never under minding her house work. Elaine made time for everything. She then moved in April of 1955 to Manteca, where her husband would own and operate Silva’s Real Estate. While Ronald worked, Elaine took care of her household, budgeting and never living beyond her means. Never the less, Elaine was social and outgoing, attending dinner dances and always looked impeccable.  She was one of the first members of the M.R.P.S. Hall, looking forward to the many gatherings. Elaine was raised Catholic and was true to her faith.   She will be remembered as a devoted wife, dedicated mother, special grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed.
P.L. fry is honored to serve the Silva Family. A Rosary will be held on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015 at 7 p.m. at P.L. Fry and Son, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. Mass will be Friday Oct. 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s   Catholic Church, 505 East North Street, Manteca.
