Ellio C. Rafanan Passed away unexpectedly at the age of 65, on October 8, 2014, in Manteca, California. Ellio was born on November 2, 1948, in Sacramento, California, to Eulalio and Juanita Rafanan.
He resided in Lathrop, California for 29 years and retired from Granite Construction where he worked as a heavy equipment operator for 29 years. Ellio loved golfing and attending his grandchildren’s football and cheer games. He had a love for the San Francisco 49ers and the San Francisco Giants. He was and always will be deeply loved by his family and dearly missed by everyone who knew him. We are all heartbroken by this sudden loss.
Ellio is survived by his children Corrie Nelson-Rafanan, Heather Valdovinos, Jennifer Rafanan, Michael Rafanan, Richard Rafanan, and Lisa Grant-Rafanan; His brothers Tony Rafanan, Louis Rodriquez, Carlos Rodriquez, and John Rodriquez; Sisters Jennifer Teal, Joyce Pendleton, Christina Rodriquez, and Anna Rodriquez; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Rosary will be held at Park View Funeral Home in Manteca, CA on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Manteca, Ca on Thursday, October 16, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. Burial following the Mass will be at Park View Cemetery.
