Ernest Richard Davis Sr, 86, of Manteca CA. passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012 in Pleasanton, CA. He was born November 18, 1925 in Muscatine Iowa, to the late John Harden Davis and Sylvia Hazel Davis. Ernest served in the US Navy as a gunner’s mate 3rd class and was stationed in Australia, and then went on to have a 50 year career in the glass industry until retiring from Ball Glass in Illinois. Ernest greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and his friends at his residence at The Commons in Manteca, watching his SF Giants games, and he was an avid western book and movie buff.
