Erwin E. Stern, age 90 and a half, entered into rest on February 9, 2014 in Manteca.  He was born on August 30, 1923 in Monango, North Dakota. Erwin was a resident of Manteca for over 66 years. He worked for the Contel Phone Company for 34 years.
   PL Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca, is honored to be serving the Stern family.  A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 12pm to 1pm followed by a Chapel Service at 1pm at PL Fry & Son Funeral Home.  A grave side service with military honors is scheduled for Friday, February 14, 2014 at 12:30pm at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W.
