Esther Lon Lowe passed away on September 19, 2013 at the age of 79, at Prestige Senior Living in Manteca, CA and was laid to rest at Park View Cemetery in Manteca, CA.
   Born on April 1, 1934 to Kom Bong Lowe and Sin Mun Joe, Esther attended Lincoln Elementary and Oakland High School. In her younger years she helped raise her younger siblings and later, along with her sisters, cared for their mother Sin Mun Joe Lee in San Francisco until she passed in 2005. Esther received many awards while working at the U.S. Department of Agriculture where she retired in 1983 after 29 yrs of service at the age of 49. She enjoyed snow skiing, bowling, watching sports and traveling with friends and family. She was a cancer survivor and a unique and special person, always eager to help anyone. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
   Esther is survived by eight siblings and their spouses George Chew, Lorraine Lowe, George Lowe, Harry and Margarete Lowe, Walter and Dianna Lowe, Mamie and Robert Tom, Hazel and James Fone, Jackson Lowe, Barbara and Tracey Witt and Gary and Betty Lee, many nieces and nephews and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents Kom Bong Lowe and Sin Mun Joe Lee, siblings Ida Chew and William Lowe and niece Debi Fone.
   The family sends a special thank you to the Staff and Caregivers at the Expressions Memory Care at Prestige Senior Living in Manteca and for the excellent assistance and care from Hospice Of San Joaquin.
   Memorial donations can be made to Hospice Of San Joaquin, the American Cancer Society and the Disabled American Veterans. A Memorial will be held at China Palace in Stockton on Saturday, November 16, 2013 for family and friends.
