Etta Irene Vieira, 94, passed away April 11, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born October 10, 1923 in Oklahoma to the late Gaither and Aggie Turner.
   She married Arthur Vieira on April 2, 1941. They are survived by three daughters, Etta Scharmann of Nevada, Linda Whyte and husband Jerry Whyte of Nevada and Sandra Leal and husband Frank Leal of Manteca.
   Irene, well known as Nonie, is survived by three grand- daughters Kim Scharmann, Joell Avilla and Michelle Vasquez and son-in-law Charles Vasquez. She is also survived by seven great- grandchildren, five great- great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  She had numerous friends that called her mom or Nonie. A special thanks to Carolyn Correll for taking such great care of mom these past few months.
   A service will be on Saturday, April 21, in Jackson, CA at Daneri Mortuary, 415 Broadway.  Viewing is at 9:00 a.m. Service begins at 10:30 a.m. Reception following at VFW Hall, 580 Moffat Blvd., Manteca, CA, 95336.
