Eugenio Ferrumpau April 15, 1946 to May 16, 2011. Eugenio Ferrumpau passed away on Monday May 16, 2011 at the age of 65 at his residence in Manteca with family at his bedside.

Eugenio was born in Sao Braz, Terceira Azores and migrated to Newark, Calif. in 1971. He moved to Manteca in November of 2008. He retired from Cargill Salt October 1, 2008 where he was employed for 29 ½ years. His hobbies included golfing, gardening, helping in raising his grandchildren, and enjoyed being outdoors. He was a member of S.E.S. and St. Anthony’s.

Survivors include his wife Merces Ferrumpau of 41 years, two daughters Leann Sousa married to Humberto Sousa and Lenda Fagundes married to Gary Fagundes. He leaves behind four grandchildren Jacob, Logan, Izaiah, and Davien. He is also survived by two brothers, five sisters, and leaves behind many family members and close loved ones.

A viewing will be held on Monday May 23, 2011 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Park View Cemetery and Funeral Home. Mass including Rosary will be held at 11 a.m. at Saint Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church located at 505 E. North Street Manteca. Final Resting Place will be at Park View Cemetery and Funeral Home 3661 E. French Camp Road in Manteca.
