Eva Anaya, 61, entered into rest on April 5, 2012 in Manteca, California. She was born on March 26, 1951 in Chihuahua, Mexico. She joins her father in heaven Longino Soto and her brother Adam Soto.

Mrs. Anaya is survived by her husband of 42 years Lupe Anaya. She has four loving daughters; Patricia Arcos (Juan), Norma Rodriguez (Benny), Lupe Anaya (Luis) and Olga Anaya. She was blessed by 10 grandchildren; Michael, Mario, Andy, Chris, Benny Jr., Christina, Alex, Anthony, Diego, and Anaya. She has one very special great-granddaughter who she loved dearly, Iliana. She is also survived by four siblings; Maria Villegas, Raymond Soto, Lorenzo Soto, and Carmen Moreno. In addition, Eva was known as the “cool Aunt” to many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Eva has lived in Manteca since the age of 6 attending Manteca schools and Manteca High. She was a homemaker taking great pride in her home, raising her children and being a devoted wife. She loved traveling and taking road trips. One of her favorite family destinations was at their family cabin in Sonora. She was a devote Catholic serving the Lord at Good Shepard Catholic Church in French Camp for the past 15 years. Eva loved her family but loved her grandchildren even more than life itself. She cherished every moment with her grandchildren as they treasured each memory she made for them special. Eva will be remembered for being the rock of her family while loving them unconditionally. She will be missed.

P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Anaya family. A rosary will be on Thursday April 12, 2012 at 7:00 pm held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday April 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. also held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest at St. John’s Catholic Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Jude’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
