Gary Lynn Breshears, 78, passed away on September 8, 2016 surrounded by family.  Gary was born in Modesto at Robertson Hospital to Roy and Mearle Breshears on August 15, 1938.  He grew up in Oakdale, where he graduated from Oakdale High School.  Gary raised his family in the community and worked at the Oakdale Leader until moving to Manteca in 1974.  In Manteca Gary owned and operated Breshears Printing for 35 years.  During this time he developed many professional relationships and personal friendships.  He was an honest and well-respected member of the business community.  Gary was a member of the Manteca Lions Club for 35 years, serving as president as well as holding other offices.  He retired from the printing business in 2006 and moved from Ripon to the Del Webb Woodbridge community, where he enjoyed spending time on the putting green, walking the neighborhood and traveling with the “55ers” RV Club.  Gary enjoyed many years at his mountain cabin with family and friends.
   Gary is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Faye Breshears; son, Grant Breshears and wife Karen, daughter Kelly Ballatore and husband Mike, sisters Diane Espinola of Oakdale and Kay Lelieur of Idaho; treasured grandchildren, Nick Ballatore, Jared Breshears, Kate Ballatore, Megan Breshears, Derek Breshears, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
   PL Fry & Son Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Breshears family. The family will be holding private services. 
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 19th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Chez Shari, 305 N. Union Road, Manteca. Remembrances may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204.
