George Albert Castoe passed away on November 27, 2015 at the age of 95, in Madera, CA. George was born in Nowata, Oaklahoma, to Harrison Bartlet and Mary Elizabeth Castoe. George wed Thelma Maxine Kraft in Coffeyville, Kansas and moved to California in 1942.  They had three children: Louise, Charles, and Kenneth. George lived the majority of his life in the California, S.F. Bay Area, and worked as a diesel and auto mechanic for 39 years, where he retired in 1981.  George spent the past 25 years in the California, Central Valley.  George served in the United States Army during WWII.  George will be remembered as a man who could fix anything and build anything.  He was loved and appreciated by so many individuals.  Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and dear friend to many. 
   George is survived by son Charles Castoe and his wife Dianne of Emmet, ID., grandfather to Mandy Simpson, Michael Lombardo, Tammy Porter, Terry Lucero, Lisa Hall, Angela Castoe, Roy Russell, Deanna Pietrowski, along with 15 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
   George was proceeded in death by his wife Thelma, daughter Louise, son Kenneth, grandson Daniel, seven sisters and two brothers.
   A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11a.m in the recreation building at the Almond Blossom Estates, 1901 E Yosemite Ave, Manteca, CA 95336.
