Mr. Hansel (Hank) W. Rhodes, Hank passed away at the age of 88, on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.  He is the son of Paul and Ruby Rhodes.  
   He has lived in Manteca and French Camp since coming to California in 1962. Hank had transferred from Libbey Owens Ford in Charleston,West Virginia to their plant in Lathrop, CA. He worked there for many years until his retirement.
   Hank attended elementary and high school in Charleston, West Virginia.
Mr. Rhodes is a veteran and served in the Marine Corp. He was also a former member of the Manteca Moose Lodge. Hank was an avid fisherman and hunter. He ran  deep sea fishing trips out of San Pablo Harbor on his boat the "Admiral."
   Hank is survived by his ex-wife Ruth Ann Wood, friend Irene Packer, siblings Pete and Linda Rhodes of Charleston, West Virginia, Carolyn Rhodes of Albany, OR and Ken and Cheryl Rhodes of Manteca.
   He was preceded in death by his brothers, Alvin and Arlie Rhodes and sister Geneive Wagner.
   Hank was lovingly called, "Uncle Bubby" by his many nieces and nephews and "Grandpa" by his granddaughter and great-granddaughters. He is loved by many.
   Services will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2020
2 p.m. at Park View Funeral Home, burial will be at Park View Cemetery.
