Harold H. Hahn, 84, entered into rest Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Doctors Hospital in Manteca. He was born December 23, 1927 in French Camp. He is preceded in death by his parents Ephriam and Augusta Hahn, and two siblings, Gwendolyn Stephens and Leonard Hahn.

Harold leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Hahn. He has two surviving children, Hilary Hahn and wife Cheryl of Manteca, and Diana Joaquin and husband Clyde of Stockton. He was blessed with four grand children, Kristi Hackett, Becky Hahn, Brad Joaquin and Blake Joaquin, and one great grandchild Austin Harold Hackett.

Harold was a resident of Manteca for 75 years. He attended Manteca High School graduating in 1946. He excelled in football and was chosen captain of the football team his Senior year. He was a United States veteran serving his country proudly through the Navy. Harold was employed by Center Plumbing for many years, while still farming his 92 acres in Ripon. He started Hahn and Son Plumbing, building homes with his son until he retired. Harold enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as attending Manteca High School football games, until this year when his health prevented him from further attending. Harold was former President of the Manteca High Athletic Boosters. He was also an avid San Francisco 49er fan and enjoyed watching games alongside his wife. He loved his family dearly and was considered, a loving husband, amazing father, grandfather and friend. Harold will be missed immensely.

P.L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the Hahn Family. A Chapel Service will be held Friday, November 9, 2012 at 10:00 am at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road. He will be laid to rest at East Union Cemetery, 1035 North Union Road, Manteca. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Manteca Historical Society, P.O. Box 907, Manteca, CA 95336.
