After a long battle with cancer, James McCormick, 43, went home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2011, at the Alexander Cohen House in Hughson. He was born in Modesto to James and Gale. He is survived by his wife, Connie, and his only children were his fish.

James loved people and enjoyed making people smile. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed helping others. James leaves behind family and many friends who will miss him a lot.

We will be having a Memorial Service for James on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Prescott Evangelical Free Church located at 3000 Prescott Road, Modesto, CA 95350. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations in James’ name to either:
