Jeffrey Kennedy, 56, entered into eternal rest on March 11, joining his father, brother and daughter in the clouds high above "Kennedyville," their country estate.

Jeffrey was born Feb. 27, 1956, and graduated from Calla in 1972. After two years in the Navy, he worked most of his adult life as a welder. A country boy at heart, Jeffrey enjoyed outdoor adventures: hunting and fishing, free diving for abalone and riding his Harley.

Above all else, though, family was his foundation. Jeffrey is survived by his wife Kathleen and children Venica Ftacek, Teddy Garwood and his wife Jenny, and Robert Kennedy; mother Geneva Kennedy; sister Cindy Kennedy; brother Paul Kennedy and his wife Teresa; granddaughters Gracelynn and Savannah Garwood; nephews and nieces Jason Beier, Angela Beier, Tricia Smith, Vernon Adams and Chris Kennedy.

He is preceded in death by his father Bill Kennedy, brother Bob Kennedy and daughter Katie Maureen.
