Jennie D. Mejia was born to her father, Frank Delsied and mother, Guadalupe (Parga) Delsied on September 25, 1926. She made her final Journey Home to the Lord on October 11, 2010. She will be deeply missed by her children Robert Mejia (Terry), Phyllis Schellman (Armon), and Carmel Mejia (Maryhelen); her grandchildren Paula, Michele, Bobbi, Lucas, Vincent, Katie, Andrew, and Emily; her great-grandchildren Christopher, Britany, Ariella, Kaylee, and Lillyanna. She is also survived by three sisters and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jennie lived most of her life in San Joaquin Valley. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved to be with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will miss her warm smile and her memorable laugh. She will remain in our hearts forever.
Visitation for Jennie will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Park View Memorial Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road in Manteca, with rosary to take place at 4:30 PM. Arrangements are being handled by Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca.
