Jo Alva Fortuny-Davis, born December 1, 1929 and longtime resident of Manteca, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2014. A resident of St. Jude’s Care Center, Jo Alva is survived by her children; Mikel Fortuny, Tina Fisher, John Fortuny III, Tony Fortuny, Ed Fortuny, her sister Pat Miller and family and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed dearly. Services for Jo Alva will be held privately. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Care Center in Manteca. Funeral services provided by DeYoung Memorial Chapel in Stockton.
