John Wesley Woodall, 72, died on Friday, January 1, at his home in Manteca. He was born on February 20, 1937 in San Jose, Cal. and lived in Manteca for 2 1/2 years.

He was owner/operator of J.V. Woodall Trucking for 20 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Mr. Woodall is survived by three sons; daughter, Terry Wright of Discovery Bay. He was preceded in death by his wife, Veronica Woodall.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 15, at 11 a.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca.
