Jose loved his family so much for the past 14 years he would travel every six months back and forth from the United States to Peru just so he could spend time with all of his children and grandchildren. He was very much a family man loving his children, grandchildren as well as extending family members unconditionally. He was exceptionally proud to be a Peruvian as his heart was always in Peru even when living in the United States.
