Joseph Rohloff, 78, entered into rest on May 30, 2012 in Modesto, CA. He was born on August 10, 1933 in Gary, IN. He was a resident of Manteca for four years and previously of Modesto for 22 years.

Mr. Rohloff is survived by his wife of 56 years Rose Rohloff. He has two daughters Vanessa Kirchner and husband Jim and Melissa Scopas and husband Nick. He was blessed with three grandchildren; Stephanie Scopas, Alexandra Scopas and Joseph Kirchner.

Joseph worked for Castle Plastics in sales for over 25 years in Modesto, CA. He was a master at woodworking making just about anything that was requested by family and friends. He enjoyed music, crossword puzzles, reading and computer games. He loved traveling in his RV with his wife and taking the grandchildren on road trips especially when the destination was Disneyland. Joseph had a huge heart towards others as he will always be remembered for his generosity. He will be deeply missed.

P.L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the Rohloff family. A visitation will be held on Thursday June 7, 2012, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. held at P.L. Fry & Son 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca. A prayer service will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. also held at P.L. Fry. Military honors will be held immediately following the prayer service at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Escalon, CA.
