Joyce Ann Botelho, age 87, entered into rest on March 26, 2014, in Manteca.  She was born on November 13, 1926, in Weleetka, Oklahoma.  Joyce is preceded death by her husband, Manuel Botelho.  She was a resident of Manteca for 28 years.
   Joyce is survived by her children, Joanne Greer (Bob) of San Leandro and Robert Botelho of Santa Clara.  She was blessed with five grandchildren.  Joyce also leaves behind her siblings, Hershel Newton (Bonnie) of Bethel Island, CA, Robert Newton (Mabel) of Ceres, and Marvin Newton (Delores) of Bethel Island, CA.  She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
   Joyce worked for Del Monte as a bookkeeper and on the canning line for 30 years. She was a longtime member and volunteer for the MRPS, serving as secretary and bookkeeper.  Joyce was involved with the San Joaquin Flood Control District and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed canning, quilting, crocheting, and fishing.  Joyce enjoyed  making pies, especially cobblers. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
   P. L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, is honored to be serving the Botelho family. A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., at P.L. Fry & Son. A service will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of P.L. Fry & Son. Interment will follow at the Tracy Mausoleum, 8842 W. Schulte Rd., Tracy.
