Kathleen Teakell, 57, entered into rest on December 27, 2012 in Manteca, Ca. She was born on June 13, 1955 in Redwood City, Ca. She joins her parents in heaven Grady & Diane Teakell and her brother John Teakell. 

Kathleen is survived by her former husband and friend John Geurin. She has 6 children; Chris Tilton, Melissa, Johnny, and April Geurin, Melinda Kidder, and Shawn Birmingham. She was blessed with two grandsons; Christopher Matthew Tilton and David Geurin. Her siblings are Douglas Teakell and Anita Cottet. She adored her nieces and nephews; Stacy, Duane and Zoe Cottet, William, Johnny, Jennifer, Grady, Doug and Don Teakell.

Kathleen was a resident of Manteca for 30 years. For 15 years she was a bookkeeper for her father’s pool business. She enjoyed the peacefulness of the outdoors. She loved visiting with friends and restoring antique furniture. She was extremely social as she loved dancing and listening to music. She was always happy as she made others smile with her positive outgoing attitude. She was happiest when spending quality time with her grandsons; she loved them unconditionally. Kathleen will be remembered for her loveable caring spirit which never went unnoticed by others. She will be greatly missed.
