Kenneth Lee Delk entered into eternal rest on December 26, 2015. He was born on July 13,1943 to Christine and Tim Delk.
Ken was raised by his grandparents John and Clara Jones in Porterville, CA after his mother passed away when he was an infant. Ken met the love of his life, Mary Charlene Delk, through his brother Jack and her cousin Charlene, after moving to Stockton to work at Golf Red Cedder Co. where they both were working. Ken and Mary married when she was just 16 and Ken was 18. It was love at first sight.
They settled down in Stockton, CA where he started his career in construction, eventually moving their family to Manteca. Ken was a member of the operating engines and the pipe fitting unions.  He worked hard and played hard. Ken loved all outdoors activities. He always had motorcycles and loved riding his Harley!  He was an excellent water skier and loved being on the water.  Ken made many wonderful friends along the way.
Our family would like to thank his best friend Lauren Reeves for all he has done for Ken. He is what true friendship looks like. He has been Ken’s conservator for the last five years, taking care of all his needs. Lauren, we are so grateful for all you have done, you are an amazing friend.  We would like to thank Ken’s care givers at Prestige care facility in Manteca for taking great care of Ken.
Ken is preceded in death by his grandparents John and Clara Jones, parents Tim and Christine Delk, wife Mary Charlene Delk  (2008) and brother Jack Delk (2009).
He is survived by his son, Kendall Delk and daughter  Lori Baldridge (Mark), grandchildren Jessica Delk, Cierra Delk, Marcus Baldridge, great-grandson Casey Hussman, sister Carolyn Parrott and brother Ronnie Delk.
Friends and family are invited to a graveside service, January 8, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 and Harney Ln., Lodi, CA.
