Kevin Vance Strickland beloved son, father, grandfather and friend passed away at  his home on September 12, 2015 at the age of 55, born in Oakland, CA, on December 27, 1959, son of Patricia Steed of Berleley, CA.
   Kevin grew up in Manteca, CA attending Golden West Elementary and
graduated from Manteca High School.
Kenvin was a master mechanic with skills in automotive, diesel and heavy duty equipment repair.  He was actively involved in the Central Valley Tractor Pull circuit, and had a strong passion for welding and fabricating.  He also had a love for the outdoors, holding a special place in his soul for the ocean.
   Kevin is survived by his mother, Patricia Steed of Ceres, his sister Kim Smith of Ipwa, his two sons: Kevin Strickland and his wife Carly, Kyle Strickland and his wife Nichole; his five grandchildren, Aubrie, Hannah, Grahm, Madison and Emma Strickland all of Manteca; and his loyal dog of 13 years, Sugar.
   A Celebration of life will be held privately for Kevin in Manteca by his two sons and family.
