Larry Hoover, 72, entered into rest on February 4, 2012 in Stockton, California. He was born on May 30, 1939 in New Mexico. He joins his parents Ralph and Sybil Hoover and his two sisters; Lorraine Elliott and Deanna Sarich in heaven.

Larry is survived by his loving companion Diana Hamel. His beloved children are Athena Hoover, Natalie Hoover and Randy Hoover. He was blessed by four grandchildren Heather Ardolino, Blake Artel, Courtney and Chelsey Hoover. He adored his four great-grandchildren; Mariah, Ariana, Jayden, and Alexander. In addition he has three siblings, Lavonne Leverette, Sharon Allert, Barbara Phelps. Larry also leaves behind his best friend Gil Hohn.

Larry was in the transportation industry for over 30 years as a truck driver for Moore trucking. Before driving, as a young boy, Larry worked for his father's business "T.P. Tire" in French Camp. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Union.

Larry enjoyed the outdoors, especially when it came to hunting and fishing. He loved tending to his vegetable and rose garden. When with his family, Larry made each and every moment spent with them special. He was a true family man
always supporting them in all of their goals and dreams. He loved to entertain as he would have family and friends over for BBQ's at his home, always had a special way of
making everyone feel at home.

Larry will be remembered as a loving father, a wonderful grand father, and a very special brother and friend. He will be missed.

P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Hoover family. A service will be held on Friday February 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
