Lea passed away peacefully at Bethany Home in Ripon, California on March 3, 2012.  Born in Ripon, Lea spent her entire life here with the exception of several months when she and her family went to South Dakota.

Lea loved the out-of-doors especially planting and caring for her garden.  As a young girl she learned to milk cows and hauled hay from the fields to the barn and was always proud of her work ethic.  She enjoyed her cats and always loved animals.  When younger, she loved to travel to the casinos with her friends.  She was devoted to her family and loved to have friends around her.

Lea was preceded in death by her mother Selina Catramis of Ripon, father Nicholas Catramis of San Francisco, husband Dethmer Kuil, sisters; Hilda Cole, Mary Hat, Olga Burress and brother George Catramis.   She is survived by her son, Dale Kuil and wife Eileen, her daughter Mary Coito and husband Fred, grandchildren; Gregory and Matthew Kuil, of Ripon, and granddaughter Lisa Coito of Minnesota, great grandchildren; Lauren Peelman and husband Kenny of Kerman, CA., Anthony and Gregory Kuil of Ripon, and was preceded in death by great granddaughter Mikkayla Kuil.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan-Ripon Memorial Chapel,  111 Palm Ave., Ripon, where a memorial service is planned for Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 11:00am. For condolences to the family, please visit her online guestbook at
