Surrounded by his loving family on July 12, 2011 God took Manuel’s hand and entered into Heavens gates. Born in Fresno, CA he later met the love of his life and moved to Manteca to raise their family.
Manuel recently retired after 35 years at Fox Paper in Ripon, CA. He enjoyed yardwork, cleaning, and most of all spending time with his family. Pop never missed a game for his grandkids and was a DIE-HARD Raider fan.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn of 37 years; son, Manuel, Jr.; daughters, Jenny (Scott), Sarah (Lupe), and Melissa
(Jacob); beloved grandkids, Alexandria, Ariana, Frankie, Jacob, Noah, Aliyah, Manuel III, Jaysen, and Khloe.
The most amazing Husband, Dad, Pop, Son (in-law), Brother (in-law), Father-n-law, Uncle, and Friend to many. He will always be loved and never forgotten.
A “Celebration of Life” service will be held on Wednesday, July 20th, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flowers at Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery, Hwy 99 and Harney Lane, Lodi. Pastor Richard

Family and friends are also invited to attend the Committal Service on Thursday, July 21st, at 10:30 a.m. at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, on McCabe Road, near Hwy’s 33 and I5, near Santa Nella and Gustine, CA.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19th, from 1:00–7:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service from 7:00-8:00 p.m. with memories and photo’s shown.
