On March 6, 2014, Martin (Marty) Brouns passed away in St. George, Utah.   He was born June 2, 1938 in Maastricht, Holland to Sjang and Beloona Brouns.
   Marty was a florist.  He owned and operated a flower shop in Lomita, CA, for many years.  After moving to Manteca, he was employed for 16 years at Rose Mart in Manteca and Stockton.  He enjoyed traveling to Holland to visit family.  
   Marty moved to Orem, Utah at the age of 22.  He later moved to Los Angeles, CA, then spent many years residing in Manteca, CA before moving to Pioneer, and later retiring to St. George, Utah, where he lived near family and friends. He is survived by his brothers, Willie Brouns and Ber Brouns, and sister-in-law, Marie Louise Brouns.  He also is survived by several nieces and nephews. 
   A church service will be held to honor Martin at the Bateau-Chapelle in Liege, Belgium, together with a memorial for his cousin, Erica van Thiel.
