Former Tracy resident Mary Ellen Cisneroz, 61, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her immediate family on April 20, 2010 in French Camp.  Born on August 15, 1948 in French Camp, but she was raised in Tracy, moved to Manteca for 14 years before settling in Riverbank for the past three years.

Mary graduated from Tracy High School in 1967 and in 1968 she graduated from Humphrey’s Business College.  After college she took on different jobs which included: H.J. Heinz from 1968-1969; the family restaurant “El Castillo” in Tracy from 1974-1980 and owned “El Guadalajara” Restaurant in Manteca from 1994-1996.  In 1982 she acquired her Real Estate license but in the meantime continued to work at the family restaurant from 1988-1994.  In 1996-2006 she worked in Real Estate selling new home for Florsheim Homes and most recently worked for Bright Homes in Manteca while still working for the family restaurant.  Mary loved listening to music, enjoyed cooking Mexican food, traveling and shopping.  She relished the quality time she spent with her family; especially the time she spent with her two children Pita and Gili.

Her survivors include: her ex-husband Gilberto Enciso Sr.; her children: Angelica Enciso of Riverbank and Gilberto Enciso Jr. of Manteca; ex-mother-in-law Rosario Ornelas of Guadalajara, Mexico; her siblings: Manuel Lopez and wife Sandy of Las Vegas; Armondo Lopez and wife Ruby of Concord; Irma Gaitan of husband Victor of Fresno; Sergio Roman and wife Donna of Manteca; Josie Morelos and husband Raymond of Tracy; Joe Cisneroz of wife Cynthia of Tracy; Albert Cisneroz and wife Esther of Tracy; Gloria Ramirez and husband Jerry of Tracy; and Antonio Cisneroz of Tracy; 16 nieces, nephews and many more family in Southern California and Gudalajara, Mexico; and her niece Leticia Cisneroz Diaz which Mary always saw as a daughter.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Francisco and Paula Cisneroz; her sister Benita Garcia and Rosa Rios; and her brother Frank Cisneroz Jr.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 2 to 7 p.m. followed by vigil service at 7 p.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel 550 S. Central Ave., Tracy.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church 163 W. Eaton Ave., Tracy.  Her final resting place will be at Tracy Public Cemetery.  An online guest book is available at www.frymemorialchapel.com to send your condolences to the family.
