Maureen “Moe” Iorio, 68, entered in to rest on March 24, 2014, in Modesto, CA. She was born on July 27, 1945, in Ottawa, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents Leo and Annette Duffy.
   Ms. Iorio is survived by her children Kelly Iorio and Chris Iorio (wife Sonja). She was blessed by her four grandchildren; Tini Iorio, Chris Iorio, John Iorio and Emma Iorio. In addition, she had five siblings; Cara Swartz (husband Cliff), Nora Foehringer (husband Dave), Shelia Gale, Dennis Duffy and Trisha Silviera.
   Maureen was affectionately known to her family and friends as “Moe.” She was a 50 year resident of Manteca and was employed with the City of Lathrop for the past 25 years. She was a long time member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She was an avid basketball fan, enjoying both college and professional. She loved day trips to local casinos, socializing with everyone she came in contact with. She enjoyed the outdoors as she felt at peace when visiting Pine Crest and Lake Tahoe. Moe’s true love in life were her grandchildren; she was their biggest fan, always encouraging them and supporting them in their goals and dreams, her love for them was truly unconditional. Moe was always happy, she was fun to be around as she was always the life of the party. Moe will be remembered as an amazing mother and a wonderful grandmother. Her infectious laugh and her funny outgoing personality will never be forgotten.
