Maxine J. Murchison, 84, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Manteca.  She was born on July 17, 1925 in Fresno, California.  She was a residence of Manteca for 10 years and prior resident of Fresno and San Lorenzo. In heaven she joins her husband, the late Donald Murchison and her parents, the late Richard and Minnie Niceley, and seven sisters and two brothers.

Maxine retired from Owens-Illinois after 10 years of service.  She enjoyed doing needle craft. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her brothers in-law, Rod Aguilar of Manteca and Sterling Murchison of Santa Paulo, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Maxine will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation has been scheduled for Saturday, April 17, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a Chapel service to follow at 2  p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. Burial will follow at East Union Cemetery, 1035 N. Union Road, Manteca.
