Maybelle was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, nana, and friend.  She enjoyed people and impacted many lives.  Her career involved book keeping for insurance and aero-space companies, a trucking company, Dr. Yee, and PL Fry & Son.  Her 20 years at Fry’s gave her great opportunities to serve others.  Her service continued upon retirement compiling over 6500 hours as a Pink Lady at Manteca’s Doctors Hospital.  She was involved with Manteca High faculty wives through and following Harold’s teaching career at Manteca High School.  The Martin garage served as a polling place for over 40 years, and Maybelle took great pride and responsibility as the polling inspector.  She was actively involved in her church - ranging from Sunday school teacher, choir member, missions, and leadership.  As her health declined, her loving spirit as well as her faith and trust in God remained strong.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Maybelle is survived by her husband of 57 years, Harold W. Martin; children, David Martin and wife Debbie of Portland, OR, Dean Martin and wife Dee of Modesto, Donn Martin and wife Debbie of Gilbert, AZ, Denise Martin, Manteca; siblings, Arthur Hollar and wife Barbara of Canada and Mardell Flaming and husband Galen of Salida, grandchildren Jared Martin, Erin Sivula, Brian Wakefield, Wendy Goodwin, Linda Martin, Kyle Martin, Brett Martin, Blake Martin, and Amanda Martin, great-grandchildren Dylan, Trey, Lily, Jori and Kalli.  Maybelle was preceded in death by her son, the late Dennis Martin.
