Michael Lee Weigum, 58, of Manteca, passed away suddenly on December 5, 2012, in Twain Harte, CA.
Mike was born in Orange County California on August 17, 1954. He grew up in Victor, California where he attended grammar school at Alpine-Victor School.  He was a 1972 graduate from Lodi Union High School and attended the University of California at Sacramento.

Mike retired from E & J Gallo Winery in Modesto where he worked for 33 years.  He enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife, Donna.  Alaska in particular was a favorite vacation spot.      He spent many hours on his boat fishing in the Delta and various foothill reservoirs and lakes.  He was an avid LA Dodgers and Oakland Raiders fan. The most important thing to him was spending time with his family who meant the world to him.   Mike was a loyal friend and a loving husband and father.

He is survived by his wife of nine years, Donna Thornburg-Weigum, his children, Dustin and Marcus Parker of Manteca and Michelle and David Weigum of  Las Vegas, his sister Kathy (Jim) Bender, his nephew, Shawn (Amber) Bender, and his niece, Katie Bender all of Lodi, four grandchildren, one great-niece and two-great nephews. He leaves behind many other family members and long-time friends who will miss him dearly.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Wally Weigum and his mother, Jacqueline Burrison-Weigum.

Interment will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Lodi Memorial Park Cemetery.
