Myrtice Marshall, 84, entered into rest on March 13, 2009 in Stockton. She was born on March 20, 1924 to Mr. and Mrs. Luther and Grace Davidson in Central City, New Mexico. She joins her parents, one sister Mae Keene and her beloved husband Edward Marshall in heaven.

Myrtice is survived by her children Pamela Wilson and husband Monty of Florida, Cheryl Marshall of Manteca, and Barry Marshall and wife Juana of Stockton, one sister Virginia Laverty of Auburn and 6 grandchildren; Don Barrett, Vicky Barrett, Tony Wilson, Eddie Marshall and Claire Marshall. In addition she was blessed by 2 great-grandchildren, Patrick Barrett and Parker Barrett.

Myrtice spent 30 years working for the government as an accountant for the V.A. Hospital in Palo Alto. She was a member of the V.F.W. and active in the Rainbow Girls when her daughters were younger. Myrtice was very close to her family; she treasured every special moment that was spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. To remember Myrtice is to remember her as a kind lady who had a very giving heart.

Mrs. Marshall’s services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. She will be laid to rest with her late husband Edward Marshall at Fort Bayard National Cemetery in New Mexico.
