Nelda Lou Kees Wilson of Manteca passed away peacefully on September 17, 2012, with her family by her side. She was born in Webb, Louisiana on May 10, 1932.

She graduated from Hayward High School, and married the love of her life, Rocky Wilson, on October 6, 1951. Lou worked at Central Valley Bank in Manteca and she lovingly cared for 33 foster babies over 15 years. She treasured her many happy memories with her wonderful friends, the ‘Birthday Club’ girls.

Lou had immense pride and joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Elzy and Altha Kees, her four brothers, and a son, Richard. She is survived by her husband, Rocky, her sister, Rena, her children, Glenn (Terry), Tami and Timothy (Jackie ), her grandchildren, Merissa (Anthony), Christina (Ben), Stephen, Meghan (Stephen), Brian, Kyle, Kevin, Stephanie, Michael, Nick, and James, her great grandchildren, Phoenix, Braydon, Kaelynn, Emma, Kylah, Logan, Brian, Aubrey, Kadan and Mallorie and many other loving relatives and friends.

Her memorial service is planned on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Park View Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Rd., Manteca, CA. There will be a celebration of life following the service at the American Legion Hall on 220 E. Yosemite Ave., Manteca, CA 95336. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Manteca Historical Society, P.O. Box 907, Manteca CA 95336.
