Norma G. Farrow, 85, entered into rest on May 14, 2009 in Manteca, California. She was born on August 25, 1923 in McClain County, Oklahoma. She was a resident of Manteca for over 58 years.

Norma is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years Paul Farrow. Her children are Paula Miller and husband Clyde of Manteca, Judy Ballance and husband Bob of New Jersey and Sam Farrow of Manteca. Her grandchildren are Dean Miller, Chris Miller, Jeff Miller, Kathy Ballance, Kristen Flynn, Eric Ballance, Felicity Lape, and Dustin Farrow. She has one surviving sister June Cheek of Texas. In addition Norma was blessed by 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Norma and her husband Paul owned and operated Farrow Sales and Service Shop of Manteca where she was the bookkeeper for over 26 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Manteca since 1953 where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She was a member of the Soroptimist Woman’s Club of Manteca. Norma also taught as a substitute teacher for the Manteca Unified School District. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to the Mid-West in their motor home. She was truly blessed by her family and get-togethers brought great joy to her heart. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Mrs. Farrow’s services are being held under the direction of P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. Visitation will be on Tuesday May 19, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 3 p.m. also on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at First Baptist Church 715 E. North St. Manteca. Burial will be private.
