Ophelia “Phil” E. Clark passed away in Modesto on June 3, 2012 at the age of 86. Knowing what she knew about heaven, it was a blessing to let her go after a series of strokes and complications from arthritis.

Born in Oklahoma to William and Dora Ellis, she has lived the past year in Modesto, and lived previously in Escalon and Manteca. Phil worked for over 25 years at Diamond Walnut, and was a member of First Christian Church in Manteca.

She is survived by her daughters; Dorothy Land (Garland) of Manteca, Patricia Housden (Roy) of Escalon, sister Jean Strawn of Stockton, grandchildren; Deborah Land Bushnaq, Julia Kay Cannon, K.C. Crawford, and Cary Bartlett, and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in the Garden of the Gospels at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 at E. Harney Lane in Lodi.
