Pablo Chavez, 45, entered into rest on January 3, 2012 in Palo Alto, California. He was born on April 7, 1966 in Mexico to Cliserio Chavez and Maria Vargas. For the past 21 years he has been married to Ofelia Chavez. He was blessed by 4 children Pablo Chavez, Ricky Chavez, Diago Chavez, and Karina Chavez. He was a brother to Martin Chavez, Padro Chavez, Nena Chavez, and Rosie Chavez.

Pablo was a resident of Lathrop for the past 17 years and previously of Tracy for 3 years. He worked in the telecommunications field for the past 25 years, most recently working for Point-One in Livermore as an Estimator. He was a faithful member of Our Lady of Guadalupe of Lathrop where he enjoyed Father Francisco’s Masses. He enjoyed fishing and family get-togethers. He was a huge football fan especially when it came to his children’s sporting events. Pablo was a devoted father; he loved joking and playing with his children. He was always very proud of all four of his children and their accomplishments.  He loved to bake pies as he was especially known for his famous homemade cheese cakes. Pablo will be remembered for his devoted and loyal spirit and his infectious beautiful smile that never when unnoticed. Pablo will be missed by all who was blessed to know him.

P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Chavez family. A visitation will be held Sunday January 8, 2012 at 2 to 4 p.m. followed by a rosary at 4 p.m. held at P.L. Fry Chapel 290 N. Union Rd. Manteca. A Mass will be held on Monday January 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe 16200 Cambridge Dr. Lathrop, Ca. He will be laid to rest at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery – Stockton.
