Patricia Ann Roe Brown, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, counselor and confidant passed away on May 21, 2010 in Tracy.  Born Patricia Ann Brown on October 15, 1926 in Stanley, Wisconsin, she has called Tracy her home for the past 38 years.

Pat was the beloved wife of Thomas Stanley Brown whom she met at a Valentine’s Day dance in Hawaii in 1953.  They were married August 13, 1955 and had three children: son, Craig Stanley Brown (deceased), and daughters, Victoria Lynn Brown Young and Kaaren Lee Brown.

The doting grandmother to Katie and Tricia and fond mother-in-law of Brad Young, Pat is also survived by siblings Dean K. Roe and Karen Roe Mulrine, and countless other family members and friends in Tracy and across the country.

A graduate of Swedish Hospital School of Nursing, she was a Korean War veteran who proudly served as an officer in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1956.

Having provided comfort and care to her patients and a lifetime of love and kindness to her family and friends, Pat was a living example of her Christian beliefs.  Baptized as an infant, Pat was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church and a faithful believer in the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel 550 S. Central Ave., Tracy followed by a chapel service at 1 p.m..  Her final resting place will be at Tracy Public Cemetery.
