Perlita Bungcayao, 73, entered into rest on December 1, 2012 in Manteca, California. She was born on May 28, 1939 in the Philippines. She joins her husband in heaven Evaristo Bungcayao Sr. and her grandson Cole.

Mrs. Bungcayao is survived by her four children, Evaristo Bungcayao Jr., Daisy Bungcayao-Wagner (Seth), Lisa Bungcayao and Elsie Hirata (Terry). She was blessed with two grandchildren Alyssa and Colin. She has one sister Cecilia Casil (Ernesto) and seven nieces. In addition she was a great aunt to Ashley, Kristen, and Tiffany.

Perlita was a member of the Laoaguanian Filipino Organization of Monterey. She attended St. Anthony’s Catholic Church of Manteca. Perlita was a devoted mother and grandmother. She respected and loved her family unconditionally as she had a special relationship with each of her family members. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, auntie and sister. She will be deeply missed.

P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Bungcayao family. A visitation will be held on Thursday December 6, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca. A Rosary/Mass will be held on Friday December 7, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 525 E. North St., Manteca. She will be laid to rest at Parkview Cemetery.
