Phillip Joseph Gresser Sr.,60, entered into rest April 28, 2009 in Stockton after a long illness. He was born in Santa Monica, Ca., December 13, 1948.

Phillip was raised in Marin County and as an adult lived with his son in Manteca and Modesto. He was a butcher by trade for almost 20 years.  
Phillip is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and June Gresser and his brother John Gresser. He is survived by his son Phillip Gresser Jr. and daughter-in-law Melissa of Modesto, and daughter Cassandra McCants of Valley Springs. He was blessed by 3 very special grandchildren Mason, Mariah, and Kourtnee’. He has one Sister June Gresser and brother-in-law Christopher of Marin County.

Mr. Gresser’s arrangements are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. At Phillip’s request there will be no services.
