Pierrette Therese Wood beloved wife of Leonard James Wood passed away peacefully at her home in Manteca, Ca, on Jan. 1, 2015, after a long illness.
    She is survived by her husband, Leonard; her four children, Clifford Wood of San Carlos, Ca. Jennifer Noble of Orangevale, Ca. Brian Wood of Bend, Ore. Cindy Hodson of Loomis, Ca; her nine grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. 
   She is also survived by three of her siblings, George Hider and Shirley Grenier of Montreal, Quebec, Ca. and Gisele Serre of St Casimir, Quebec, Ca.  Mrs. Wood was born Nov. 11, 1927, in Montreal, Quebec, Ca. and moved with her family to California in 1966. They lived in San Mateo for 22 years where she enjoyed the company of many friends and neighbors. In 1988, Mrs. Wood moved with her husband to Manteca, CA., where they resided for 26 years. Mrs. Wood spent her time pursuing hobbies such as ceramics and gardening. In addition to being a loving homemaker, she cherished spending time with her husband and family. Memorial contributions may be made to a hospice organization or charity of your choice.
A celebration of her life will be held by the family in the spring.
