   Rick Horn, age 58, of Reynoldsburg, OH, formerly of Manteca, CA entered into eternal rest Monday, September 22, 2014. He was born February 18, 1956 in French Camp, CA to the late George Horn and Marie Cook. He was a 1974 graduate of East Union H.S. where he played football, soccer, and baseball. He attended San Joaquin Delta College where he studied architecture. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve. Rick worked in various construction jobs including driving a concrete mixer. Growing up in California, he was active in Boy Scouts of America and had fond memories of hiking with them in Yosemite National Park. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Manteca. In 2000, he moved to Reynoldsburg with his family. Rick took pride in many things, including his family, being a member of Teamsters, and the appearance of his yard. He enjoyed woodworking, shooting, fishing, watching his kids play sports and coaching the kids in baseball and soccer. He liked watching sports, especially the Ohio State University and the Raiders. He loved animals, especially his dog Bailey. Rick always put other before himself and will be dearly missed by his family.
   In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his siblings, George Horn, Jr., Boyd Horn, Heidi Beglinger, and Rose Marie Arnold; and his mother-in-law, Marlene Heupel. Rick will be missed by his loving wife of 39 years, Vickie Horn; sons, Bryan (Emily) Horn and Trevor (Jenny) Horn; daughter, Rachel Horn; granddaughters, Olivia, Caroline, and Madison; siblings, Nick (Diane) Beglinger, Judy (Bill) Stephenson and Chris Beglinger; father-in-law, Jacob Heupel; sister-in-law, Penny Heupel; brothers-in-law, James and Loel Heupel; and many nieces and nephews.
   Family will receive friends Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel,1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2014 at St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church, 1600 N. Hague Rd., Columbus, Fr. Jeff Rimelspach, Celebrant. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
