She was a member of The Manteca Moose Lodge where she served as past president of the Women of the Moose, secretary, and treasurer as well as chief cook and bottle washer. Every Friday night most would find Rose at the Moose Lodge playing poker and shuffle board with her local Moose members and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors where she loved to camp and fish. Hosting parties was Rose’s forte; she loved to have friends and family over always ending the evening with a great game of poker. Rose’s sisters were more than just her sisters they were her best friends. They commonly took road trips together with no plans in sight. They also loved cruising together to places like Mexico and Canada. Rose was also known for being an avid reader; she loved to read just anything that was called “a book.” To remember Rose is to remember her for her strong sense of humor, her great smile, and her zest for life.
