Ruth Eleanor Aguilar, 81, passed away on September 22, 2016 in Colfax, CA. Ruth was born in Palo Alto, CA on January 30, 1935.
   She is preceded in death by her husband Guadalupe Aguilar and survived by her brother Rick Baker, daughters Leanne Brum (Elena) and Lisa Brum-Johnson (Richard), grandchildren Branae Owens (Casey), Jenith Lee, Nicholas Johnson, Jake Johnson, Lydia Sanchez,  Anthony Juano (Laura), Roza Fray(Jason), Christina Delosangeles (Ernie), Ricky Brum, Anthony Brum Veronica Medina(Chris Sr.) and Michael Muniz(Sandy). Great-grandchildren, Madisyn Ruth, Dylan, Kameron, Kole, AJ, Hayden, Dylan, Jason, Mila, Jazzelle, Caliyah, Chris Jr, Delizya, Delylah and Savanna. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends.
   Ruth and Lupe moved to Auburn in 1976. They managed and later owned the Bell Garden Apartments 35 plus years. Ruth loved parties; she was good at turning any “small” get together into a big party with all of her friends and family. She loved music, dancing and spending time with her family. Ruth touched so many people in her life; she would help anyone at any time. She will be greatly missed by so many.
   A Rosary will be held at Lassila Funeral Chapel, 551 Grass Valley Hwy, Auburn, CA, on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 1p.m.
