Sandra Langum Poteet, 67, entered into rest Monday, September 24, 2012 in Modesto. She was born, Monday, February 19, 1945 to Leonard and Bernadette Langum. In heaven Sandra is reunited with her loving father Leonard.

Sandy leaves behind her loving husband and best friend Ernie Poteet and her mother Bernadette. Sandy is the mother of Kim Frey and Carol Dupree of Modesto. In addition, Sandy has one step child Clint Poteet of Modesto. She was blessed with ten grandchildren, Jessica Frey Dupree, Alyssa Perry, Ryan Dupree, Adam White, Austin White, Andria White, Alexander Roger, Clayton Allen, Christina Wilson and Robert Dupree. Sandy has one great grandbaby Rachael Perry and one on the way.

Sandra was a homemaker before becoming a business owner working alongside husband Ernie. She was a Modesto and Ripon resident for most of her life. Sandy was a faithful Catholic. She enjoyed cooking for her family and she excelled in baking. She would design beautiful wedding cakes that she took immense pride in. Sandy was creative and talented. She would master any job at hand. She had great love for music especially Kenny G. She loved her family dearly and treasured every moment she spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Arrangements for Sandy are under the direction of P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A Prayer service will be held in her honor on Tuesday, September 2, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at P.L. Fry and Son.
